Shrinking Volume

The writing is on the wall. Volume has shrunk and value is dipping. Not good signs.

The morning session elevated the CI by 7.1 points to 1392.53. Gainers was overtaken by losers 278 to 331. Volume was 274 million shares worth RM492 million. Bad signs that we are going to see the ice bears of the Golden Compass very soon!

No random walk for window dressing as well even though Santa is on his way.Has the Grinch stole Bursa's joy this year?

Among gainers were IOIProp moving up 30 sen. VADS glided up 25 sen while Commerz and Petgas both climbed 20 sen. Losers included MetalR dropping 30 sen; DFZ sinking 26 sen;The Store losing 18 sen and RBLand collapsing 17 sen.

The portfolio was disgusting by any standards. Genting managed a 5 sen increase to RM7.65 while others were overnighters or losers. The overnighters included BJ Sports Toto which stood at RM5.15; Metronic at 15.5 sen and Resorts World at RM3.66. KHSB and RCE were off by 0.5 sen to 85 sen and 82.5 sen while Welli got sick and fell 4.5 sen to 60.5 sen.

Looks like the afternoon will be dullsville!

So let us just appreciate the charms of Miss USA while we wait for the session to open up.
