Inherently Strong PerformanceBursa steamed along in the afternoon session upping the CI 9.03 points to 1434.16. Gainers about even losers 383 to 394. Volume was 739 million shares worth RM1.45 billion.
Gainers included TM rising 50 sen;Pantech upping 26 sen;TaAnn climbing 25 sen and SimeDarby ascending 20 sen. The losers were led by BAT and Nestle both slumping 75 sen; Equine-LA collapsing 67 sen and DFZ-PC dropping 44 sen.
Portfolio was so much better. Genting rose 15 sen to RM7.75, BJ Sports Toto adding 10 sen to RM5.20;Resorts World climbing 4 sen to RM3.74 while KHSB also move up a sen to 88.5 sen. Metronic stay put at 16 sen along with RCE at 86 sen. Welli dropped 2 sen to 55.5 sen.
Tomorrow's performance will be influenced by tonight's Dow and the expected Fed cut.
