A picture tells a million words.

Look at the picture above and tell me:

How many of these Chinese looks tired?

How many are twins?

Who is the teacher?

You can't tell, can you?

But you can tell when Bursa is sleepy and tired. Case in point. Today. At the rate is is going-it will be siesta time until New Year's Day 2008.

The CI is still in decline. At the noon close, it lost 5.47 points to 1386.14. Gainers lost to losers 171 to 475. Volume was 417 million shares worth RM721 million.

Among gainers were MetalR which bounced up 30 sen;Shell which rose 30 sen as well;Orient which galloped on to get a 20 sen gain and Tanjong which leaped 20 sen too. Losers were led by BJLand-LB which slided 30 sen; IOIProp which collapsed and lost 30 sen too;Gamuda which skidded off 22 sen and Bursa which tanked 20 sen.

The portfolio was okay with BJ Sports Toto leading the way up 15 sen to RM5.20; Resorts did badly losing 6 sen to RM3.66. Genting hardly performed losing 5 sen to RM7.60; Metronic rose 0.5 sen to 15.5 sen while RCE was down by 0.5 sen to 82.5 sen.Elsewhere, Welli lose 3.5 sen to 65 sen while KHSB was unchanged at 85.5 sen.

The afternoon session will follow the same heartbeat as the morning session.
