Losing Steam!Bukan main! Bursa did a whopper on Friday. Today, the gusto buying petered off. Whatever you want to say, Bursa is still one Mat Rempit against the world today. Gungho...man! Minimal loss to the CI, which now stood at 1465.57 after a fall of 1.1 points at the morning close. Losers outran gainers 465 to 206 while volume was agreeable at 511 million shares worth RM972 million.
Unheard of PACMAS zoomed off with a 44 sen gain followed by plantation giant KLK with a 40 sen gain. UMCCA was next with a 35 sen gain followed by BKawan upping 30 sen. The losers included SAAG-WA giving up 42 sen;Parkson discounting 35 sen,SAAG surrendering 35 sen as well and Digi which slided 30 sen.
The portfolio was uninteresting. KHSB moved up 4 sen to 95.5 sen;RCE added 1.5 sen to 87 sen;Metronic added 0.5 sen to 15.5 sen while Resorts was unchanged at RM3.92. Genting lost 5 sen to RM7.70 and BJ Sports Toto gave up 10 sen to RM5.10. Meanwhile Welli lost 1.5 sen to 54 sen.
The afternoon may see denudation of prices.
