Bursa Bulldog Stance!

Dow could be down. Raya could be around the corner. But the Bursa goes on.No rest. Bull dog tenacity, the buying goes unabated especially for JAKS. Punters and day-traders have jaked the price to RM1.36 for a 17 sen gain. Who would have thought JAKS could actually sprint? Early indicators show foreign funds presence.

For the portfolio, I am dropping off JAKS and AMDB. They have shown resilience and may have some upside but I think I should concentrate on Welli, RCE, KHSB and Resorts World, Welli may just jump into space. RCE will go up as Kuwaiti Finance Holdings have RHB to deal with now. So the way is open for RCE to take over MBSB. KHSB has a lot of promise as a boutique developer and is involved in the water-play. Resorts also has potential now that Malaysia is overweighted by Standard and Poor.

CI upped 6.7 points to 1383.61.Volume traded was good again at RM1.498 billion worth RM1.983 billion. There were 436 gainers compared to 386 losers. Gainers included Digi which added RM1.10; BAT flying high with a 75 sen gain;KLK ramming up 40 sen and Highland and Lowland gliding upwards by 35 sen. Losers saw IOIProp dropping 50 sen; Commerz slipping 40 sen, Muhibbah downloading 35 sen and Bursa dropping 30 sen.

The portfolio was better with BJ Sports Toto adding 16 sen to RM4.98; Genting adding 15 sen to RM8.15 and Resorts World notching up 8 sen to RM3.90. Meanwhile AMDB upped 2 sen while JAKS ran away with a King's ransom of 17 sen to move up to a all time high of RM1.36. RCE plodded up slowly by a sen to 91.5 sen and Welli was better off by 0.5 sen to 97 sen. Meanwhile, flash in the pan counter Metronic disappointedly retreated and lost 1.5 sen to 17.5 sen. What a shame! Syndicate 's ploy? Fool's Gold? Finally we have our potential KHSB upping itself 2.5 sen to 98.5 sen.

The picture above tells the story of JAKS and KPS. The last time KPS was the runaway escargot. This time it is JAKS out of the box!

Tomorrow is another day. I think the rally will continue if Dow helps tonight.
