Put To Pasture

The market ended losing some 19.9 points reducing the CI down to 1382.35. 674 losers strangled 188 gainers. Volume is still good at 1.09 billion worth RM1.75 billion. If not for the volume and value, I would say Bursa has been put to pasture.

Gainers were DFZ after moving downhill all of the earlier sessions when the bulls were up. It perked up 32 sen. Public Bank took in 30 sen and KLK, a similar amount. Asiatic went up 20 sen. Losers were cell operator Digi dropping 8o sen, BAT;75 sen, IOIProp;60 sen and Tanjong;50 sen

The portfolio was morose and dismal. Except for Metronic which added 0.5 sen to 18 sen, the rest were either at their overnight level (Genting at RM7.95 sen) or losers. Welli sunk below the Marianna Trench to touch a new historical low of 83.5 sen, losing some 3 sen. KHSB surrendered 2 sen to RM1.03 while
. BJ Sports Toto returned 6 sen to the market. Losing big time was Resorts shaving off 10 sen to RM3.68. RCE was off 2 sen to 91.5 sen.

A drubbing that is what baby Bursa got- six of the best from Uncle Sam.

So what do you do when you are defeated? Lie down just like our friendly bear and take in the cool Arctic air.

Hope Dow will not be chilly tonight.
