What Bursa Needs..........

is a kick in the butt and in the shin!

With the impending unraveling of Budget 2008 which every one in their right mind can deduce, is an election budget, Bursa could not break the 1300 level. A bridge too far-so to say. Bullocks to you! You are feeble and weak and you cannot stand up to Dow and you fell like Humpty from the Wall.

Anyway,enough of my ranting.

Bursar started by falling like the regional markets, all without backbones. Then it steadied itself about 11 am. Nearing 12.00 pm, it flipped like a pancake and went down some more because of the sliding of financial stocks. By the noon close,it lost 6.97 points to close at 1290.96. Losers punched out gainers 405 to 290. Volume was at 660 million shares worth RM885 million.

Gainers were Transmile, riding to the stars with another 57 sen gain. It has reached RM5.05 all because of Kuok. Alam went up 30 sen and Equine
upped 22 sen. Losers were Commerz losing 30 sen, DFZ still tail-spinning to lose 28 sen, BAT off-loading another 25 sen and Tanjong knocking off 20 sen.

Now- the portfolio.

Genting was quite good; adding 5 sen to RM7.70 and RCE added 2 sen to 90 sen on a heavy volume of 92,000 lots. AMDB looks good at 44 sen up 1.5 sen on a turnover of 83,000 lots. BJ Sports Toto was
also active taking on 10 sen to RM4.86. On their overnight levels were JAKS at 91.5 sen and Metronic at 17 sen. Resorts dropped 10 sen to RM3.94 while Welli went down 0.5 sen to 99.5 sen. KHSB dropped a sen to RM1.07 on a volume of 39,000 lots.

Will the afternoon show more life? Will Humpty Dumpty get together again? If not these stilletos gonna get your butt, Bursa Humpty!!
